At Assemblage Project we are expanding our product in store and have recently welcomed some new arrivals.
Wendy Voon is a knit wear label that we are very excited to stock. Wendy’s pieces are hand made on domestic knitting machines in her studio in Melbourne. We have had the pleasure of seeing Wendy at work and the process of knitting looks similar to playing a musical instrument. Wendy’s chunky woolen knits are satisfying to the senses and are perfect for the cold days that are finally happening.
We are now also stocking a range of Smitten basics as well as some of their dresses and cardigans. Smitten, a Tasmanian label, produces 100% premium super fine merino wool clothing with all manufacturing undertaken in Tasmania.
Authentically Tasmanian, Smitten understands rapidly changing weather conditions and the need for base layers which are perfect for Canberra. The premium merino wool is soft, light, form fitting and easy to care for – giving you a little piece of luxury that looks and feels right.
100% of their wool is sourced from local premier wool growing regions and their passion is to produce Australian made garments that are natural, sustainable and environmentally aware.
Tried and tested by known athletes, outdoor adventurers, thermal lovers and those who want beautiful but classic wardrobe items, Smitten is for everywhere you want to be.
Stuart the Cat
There’s a cat in the house…
Another addition to the store is local Canberra jewellery designer Stuart the Cat. Lisa makes simple, elegant jewellery that is lovingly crafted. She is an archaeologist and a silver smith and combines these passions to create pieces that are sophisticated yet fun.
We also have beautiful winter designs coming in from 4 Minutes 33 and Karen Lee. New pieces are coming in every couple of weeks and styles are limited so make sure you pop in regularly to play with what’s new.
